Copper casting is a casting technology currently used in the foundry industry. Although its manufacturing process is complex, it has low cost and long service time, and has been widely used in the precision casting industry. Ⅰ.The room where the copper castings are stored should be dry, dust-free, and free of air pollution, and the relative humidity should be kept below 50% as much as possible.

Ⅱ.The copper castings were covered with dirt before entering the warehouse. It is a good thing that they are chemically protected. It is not allowed to use thick grease on handicrafts, wear pure cotton gloves when touching, touch sweaty hands, and wrap with oil paper or boxes.

Ⅲ.The dust on the copper castings should be covered with a soft felt, brush, duster, etc.

Ⅳ.If you need to wash with distilled water, you can also heat, use neutral soap. Do not use ammonium hydroxide, acid, white powder, gauze, etc. If there is a large cleaning, it can be cleaned by professionals.

Ⅴ.For clean copper castings, the original method is to apply a layer of chemical protective agent or paraffin after heating. The modern method is to apply a layer of silicone seal to prevent harmful gases and moisture.

Ⅵ.To prevent objects from being damaged mechanically, do not put them together. Each piece of art should be placed in a brocade box as far as possible.

Ⅶ.Always observe changes in copper castings. Once the symptoms of copper disease are found, they should be dealt with in time. Methods Wash with sodium sesquicarbonate (5% sodium carbonate + sodium bicarbonate) until it is free of chloride ions.

Ⅷ.Copper and zinc cannot be put together. Please remember when saving.
