Bearing Quality Is Good, Teach You Five Tricks To Identify
Bearings are an important and inseparable part of mechanical equipment. It is not an exaggeration to call bearings as the joints of automobiles. In a car, not only its four legs --- the wheels need to use bearings, but all the rotating machine parts must involve the bearings. It is a very insignificant but important thing in the transmission system.
Because of the heavy workload and the high degree of wear, replacement of bearings is a relatively common thing in automobile maintenance. Walking in the auto parts market, I find that there are so many bearing shops operating various brands, but how about the quality of the bearings they sell? Is it the authentic factory brand as marked on the packaging? The following introduces you to several common methods for identifying bearing quality:
1.Is the outer packaging clear:
Under normal circumstances, the Zhengchang brand has its own dedicated designers to design the external packaging, and arrange the factories with production conditions to pass the production, so the packaging from the lines to the color blocks are very clear and unambiguous.
2.Is there any noise:
Hold the bearing inner sleeve with your left hand, and turn the jacket with your right hand to make it rotate, listening for noise. Due to the backward production conditions of most counterfeit products, completely manual workshop operation, it is inevitable that impurities such as sand will be mixed in the production process and hidden in the bearing body, so it will make a noise when rotating. This is the biggest difference from a genuine factory brand that strictly enforces production standards and operates on machines.
3.Whether the steel printing is clear:
Brand words, labels, etc. will be printed on the bearing body. The font is very small, but most of the products produced by the factory use steel stamping technology, and they are embossed before heat treatment. Therefore, although the font is small, it is deeply recessed and very clear. The fonts of counterfeit products are not only vague, because of the rough printing technology, the fonts float on the surface, and some can even be easily erased by hand.
4.Whether there is turbid oil on the surface:
This should be paid special attention when purchasing imported bearings. Since the current anti-rust technology in China is not particularly home, it is easy to leave thick oil marks when the anti-rust treatment is carried out on the bearing body, which is sticky and thick on the hand, but almost not seen on bearings imported from abroad When it comes to the traces of anti-rust oil, the attentive expert said that the imported bearings smelled a bit. They must have been under anti-rust oil, but they were just not visible.
5.Whether the chamfer is uniform:
The so-called chamfering of the bearing, that is, the intersection of the horizontal and vertical surfaces, due to production technology limitations, counterfeit bearings are not handled in these corners.
