steel split bushings

Split steel bushings or bearings are applied to lessen friction on the shaft and utilize a skinny pass section. The split in the material permits for ease of set up of the bushing. Split metal bushings are available pre-lubricated or self lubricated. They regularly take the region of larger, more high-priced machined bronze or powdered metallic bushings that often require relubrication and oil grooving. Split steel bushings are tougher than their bronze counter parts and therefore may ultimate longer in positive applications.

A composite liner consists of steel bronze powder with PTFE/Fibres combination (LEAD FREE).

1. PTFE based aggregate 0.01-0.03 mm: gives an excellent preliminary switch film, which coats the mating floor of the bearing assembly, forming an oxide kind solid lubricant film.

2. Sintered bronze powder 0.20-0.35 mm: affords most thermal conductivity away from the bearing surface, also serves as a reservoir for the PTFE based mixture.

3. Low-carbon metallic: affords exceptionally high load wearing capacity.

4. Copper/tin plating 0.002 mm: affords exact corrosion resistance.
